More of Miss Shayla K {Three Forks, MT Senior Photographer}

by Whitney Bird in

You may remember Shayla from the Butterfly Shoot.  That shoot was largely my idea, and it differed from my traditional senior shoot, so we made plans to finish her shoot on another day.  Plus we only had about 45 minutes for the first shoot, and most senior girl sessions last closer to two hours.

  Shayla isn't exactly a girly girl.  Most days, she is in sweats or athletic gear, and her hair is in a side pony.  Her mom really wanted some photos done with her hair in a side ponytail since that is most like Shayla.  Shayla is beautiful no matter what.  She could pretty much pull off any outfit or hairstyle.  lucky girl!

We did Shainy's back to school shoot that same morning so we did a few shots of the sisters.

Finally a Senior Boy {Three Forks, MT Senior Photographer}

I always love the chance to photograph senior boys.  I shoot way more girls than boys, so it is definitely a change for me.  Boys are usually a little more laid back and the shoots usually are as well.  Honestly, I am probably more comfortable shooting girls since I am one, but it is good for me to get out of my comfort zone, and Wiley was awesome to photograph.

Over the last year, I have photographed Wiley's family twice.  He has a big family so I never really got a chance to get to know him on his own.  He likes to golf so we have that in common, he also is a dog lover and has the cutest little puppy named Marley, and judging by his work schedule, he has great work ethic.  He is all around a really nice guy.

 He also seems to really enjoy his new home on a ranch.  Wiley is new to Three Forks High School this year.  I shot these just a couple days before school started, so I am curious how he is liking school in small town TF over the big city of Denver.  Wiley is just so likable that I imagine school is going great for him.  Enjoy your senior year because it will fly by.

Ashley the Athlete {Three Forks, MT Senior Photographer}

Happy Labor Day everyone.  I have been wanting to get these up all weekend, but am now just finding time to get it done.

Ashley, her mom Lisa, and I headed to Pony, MT for Ash's senior session.  I had such a blast, and I always love photographing in Pony.  There are just so many awesome spots, and it is such a cute little town.  We finished the session in Three Forks at her grandparent's house, and I am so glad we made it back before dark because those photos are some of my favorites.  (the last two were shot there)

Ashley is not only beautiful, but she is also a three sport athlete, and the girl has style.  I was loving all of her outfit choices!  Plus, she was up for all my crazy ideas.  There aren't many girls I know who are willing to hop into a river in a brand new dress.  Ashley rocked it though, and never uttered a single complaint.  I love girls like that!

Good luck in your senior year Ash.  I have no doubts that it will be an incredibly successful year in all aspects!  Enjoy your sneak peek, and I will be back in Three Forks for a volleyball game soon.
