As promised, here are some photos from Aaron and Kelsie's day after shoot. This couple lives out of state so we weren't able to do an engagement shoot. (Engagement sessions are included in my wedding packages.) So as a substitution, I presented Kelsie with this idea instead, and she loved it. Not too sure how the newlyweds were feeling about it when they arrived back in Willow Creek after only a few hours of sleep, but it turned out to be a ton of fun.

We started the session back out at the Inn at Willow Creek. The beautiful white house is the bed and breakfast located on the property. We ended our session out at my families ranch which is only a couple miles from the Inn. It was so nice to be able to shoot bride and groom portraits and not have to worry as much about the dress. Plus the stress of the wedding day was over.

I would highly recommend this type of shoot to all newlyweds. It doesn't even have to be the day after. It could be the same week, or around your one year anniversary. You might as well get some more wear out of your beautiful dress anyways.

I love the below photo. I asked Aaron to tell us a joke, and he actually had a joke to tell right on the spot. That never happens.
